Models in La Peony Clothing at the Beach

Globally Sourced Materials, American Made

At La Peony Clothing, every design choice is intentional. From the selection of fabrics to the partners we work with, our process reflects a commitment to craftsmanship, transparency, and values rooted in ethical fashion.

As a fair trade clothing brand offering luxury boutique clothing, we believe that how something is made matters just as much as how it looks. That’s why every piece in our collection is proudly manufactured in the United States. Choosing to keep our production local is a decision grounded in sustainability, chain supply management and community. It allows us to be part of the limited ethical clothing lines, reduce environmental impact, and ensure that each garment reflects the care and artistry of those who made it.

Why We Manufacture in the USA

Producing in the United States allows us to maintain a deep connection to every step of the design and production process. From initial concept to final stitch, we work closely with skilled professionals who honor quality, sustainability, and authenticity. These relationships ensure our garments are handmade by artisans under ethical working conditions, without compromising quality and care.

Supporting products made in America isn’t just about logistics, it’s about values. Domestic manufacturing reduces emissions from overseas shipping, enables greater supply chain transparency, and supports fair wages and safe working conditions. At LPC, this is how we bring our mission to life– by creating sustainable clothing that supports real people and thoughtful production at every level.

We’re proud to be among a growing group of clothing brands made in the USA that prioritize people over profit and quality over convenience.

What Sets Us Apart

La Peony was born from a belief that women deserve more from their wardrobes– more confidence, more quality, and more meaning. Our collections feature elevated wardrobe essentials designed to last. While each piece is made in the United States, its spirit is globally inspired, drawing influence from art, culture, and traditional craftsmanship around the world.

Every design is crafted to soothe and embolden the woman who wears it. Beyond exceptional fit and detail, our pieces reflect a commitment to responsible fashion. We don’t overproduce or chase trends. Instead, we focus on timeless style, ethical manufacturing, and mindful sourcing.

As one of the few ethical fashion brands in our market also offering artisanal clothing, we’re dedicated to preserving traditional techniques and supporting skilled makers. Each garment is made by artisans using carefully chosen materials that reflect our planet-first mindset.

Partnering with Like-Minded Brands: Meet LAYA

Our mission doesn’t end with our own label. La Peony proudly partners with brands that share our dedication to conscious craftsmanship. One of those brands is LAYA, a women-founded swimwear line that, like LPC, values sustainability, authenticity, and local production.

LAYA creates beautiful, functional swimwear designed for confident, empowered women. Rooted in slow fashion, their collections blend effortlessly with La Peony staples. Whether it’s pairing a swimsuit with our versatile Sia Skirt for a beach-to-brunch moment or styling the Megan Pull Over Dress as a chic cover-up, these pieces are made to move with you– effortlessly and intentionally.

LAYA’s shared commitment to quality and values-driven design makes them a natural extension of our ethos. Together, we are part of a broader movement that is redefining what clothing made in the United States can achieve through collaboration, community, and conscientious creation.

Looking Ahead: A Message From Melony Huber, Founder of La Peony Clothing

Melony Huber in The Robbie Dress

In light of recent conversations about tariff changes, many small businesses are grappling with uncertainty. At La Peony, a fundamental value we hold dear is the Fair-Trade Ethical Fashion Movement, and we are truly committed to this cause. Our efforts revolve around the support of artisanal textile, and our clothing has always been manufactured right in the heart of Los Angeles. The world is shifting, and like many businesses, we’re bracing for the impact. We’ve never been a brand to cut corners, and our commitment to fair-trade practices and ethical fashion is one we still stand by.

If you’re wondering what the recent tariffs mean for La Peony Clothing—transparently, I am too. We source fabrics here at home in Los Angeles and we also source premium fabrics from Italy.  There’s still so much we can’t predict, but one thing’s for certain: we’re in this together.

Thank you for believing in LPC and supporting our small business—I wouldn’t be here without you.
